Nancy was radiant and Biggie was overwhelmed with emotion. As she wiped away the happy tears from his eyes during the ceremony, I knew they would be happy for a very long time.
Karlton had waited for Nancy to finish her schooling–eight long years–and the day was finally here. And what a day it was.
They got married off of 47th St down on the Virginia Beach oceanfront.
After the ceremony, all the guests grabbed one of the shells provided for them by the bride and groom and simultaneously tossed them into the ocean with Nancy and Karlton. This was part of the Hawaiian traditions that ran throughout the ceremony.
We then left the oceanfront and headed to the reception at the Lighthouse on the Cove, situated off of Linkhorn Bay and Laskin Rd in Virginia Beach.
I enjoyed myself with family and friends alike that night. One of the guests even took my camera away from me and got a couple shots of me dancing. Don’t worry, I won’t torture you with those pictures…:)
